    Investigator College is a world-class ELC to Year 12 Anglican College of approximately 750 students, located at Victor Harbor on the beautiful South Coast of South Australia.  Students are encouraged to become innovative, connected citizens who are empowered to enjoy fulfilled lives.

    Reporting to the Principal and as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, this role provides leadership and vision for the delivery of education of the highest standard and leads the ongoing development and wellbeing of the Junior School students and staff.  The Head of Junior School implements the School’s Vision, Mission and Values in the daily operation of the school while proactively contributing to and modelling a culture of excellence.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • ensuring effective leadership and efficient operation of an exceptional Junior School with award-winning sustainability programs and strong connections to Australia’s leading schools;
    • collaborating with an outstanding staff team to ensure the Junior School program is contemporary, innovative, differentiated and future-focused;
    • leading, inspiring and nurturing students, staff and a delightful community.

    Applications are invited from appropriately qualified and experienced candidates with demonstrated credibility in leading school change and development.  Contemporary knowledge of curriculum, educational trends and junior years pedagogy is essential.  Superior interpersonal skills, sound judgement, warmth, authenticity and drive will equip the appointee for success in this important leadership role.
