    Founded in 1970, SHINE SA provides comprehensive and integrated sexual and reproductive health services and programs prioritising those with the most need and least choice.  Retaining an approach founded on the principles of reproductive rights, and the celebration of diversity, this recognised not-for-profit organisation works towards a vision of sexual health and relationship wellbeing for all.  High quality services and programs span sexual and reproductive health clinical and counselling services, professional and community education and information services, health promotion programs and more.

    Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer as part of the Executive Management Team, the Executive Manager, Finance is a senior leadership position overseeing the finance and corporate services functions for the entity.  Supported by a small team, key responsibilities include:

    • proactively contributing to overall strategic planning for the business in conjunction with the C-suite and connected skills-based Board;
    • providing sound financial systems, control and reporting to inform strong operational decisions;
    • ensuring compliance and good governance with a range of regulatory and funding bodies;
    • long term financial modelling, forecasting and budgeting;
    • fostering a calm, contemporary, constructive, positive and respectful culture.

    Applications are encouraged from appropriately qualified finance professionals with a commercial brain and social heart who can demonstrate experience leading high performing internal services.  Key qualities sought include strong communication and interpersonal skills, strength in stakeholder relationships, proactivity, influencing capability, resilience, versatility and energy.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and values-driven leader to contribute to a respected, progressive South Australian charity, as part of a national network of organisations collaborating to promote sexual and reproductive health and rights in Australia.  Full and part time flexibility (0.6 to 1.0FTE) is a possibility to maximise candidate choice for this most worthy entity.
