    Golden Grove Lutheran Primary School is a leading Christian independent school located in the outer north-eastern suburb of Wynn Vale, 30 minutes from the Adelaide CBD.  With small class sizes, a strong focus on student wellbeing, and rich learning through the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP), this warm and vibrant community empowers students to be active global citizens and lifelong learners.  The school believes children are capable now—not just in the future.  Grounded in Lutheran faith and guided by the values of Love, Collaborate, and Explore, Golden Grove Lutheran Primary School is a place where students, families and staff are known, cared for, and loved.

    Reporting to the Principal and serving on the Executive Team, the Director of PYP, Teaching and Learning plays a key role in shaping the school’s strategic direction.  The position leads the educational and pastoral care focus, ensuring students thrive through a curriculum that fosters inquiry, independence, and a love of learning.  Key responsibilities include:

    • leading PYP coordination and overseeing the school’s teaching and learning programs;
    • supervising curriculum and teaching programs and delivery to cultivate a whole-school learning culture;
    • collaborating with Leadership and Curriculum teams to implement strategic goals for PYP and Teaching and Learning;
    • deputising as a member of the School’s Leadership Team when required;
    • building strong, supportive, and caring relationships across all stakeholders of the school community;
    • supporting staff in planning and delivering curriculum initiatives and effective teaching and learning strategies.

    Applications are invited from contemporary and qualified educators with relevant experience in the PYP and a collaborative leadership style.  The ideal candidate will be an inspiring, team-oriented educator with highly developed leadership and interpersonal skills, energy, warmth, diplomacy and a genuine alignment with the school’s Christian values and educational philosophy.  This full-time appointment contributes strongly to leadership while maintaining a small dedicated teaching allocation.

    Both seasoned and emerging educational leaders are encouraged to make an enquiry to explore your suitability for this outstanding career opportunity within a connected learning community that continues to grow and flourish.
