Shape financial governance, enterprise performance & digital capability

Reporting to the Chief Executive and as a member of the ELT, the Chief of Finance and Technology provides strategic leadership across finance and technology, supporting strong financial stewardship, disciplined commercial governance and contemporary, secure digital capability aligned to BADGE’s priorities.  The role enhances enterprise visibility, strengthens risk management, uplifts systems capability and enables better informed decision making.

Key responsibilities include:

• leading enterprise wide financial governance including planning, budgeting, forecasting, compliance and financial control;
• strengthening commercial oversight across multi-site and project based operations, ensuring effective cost control, contract governance and financial discipline;
• providing high quality financial insight and strategic advice to the CE, Executive Leadership Team and Board to support long-term planning and operational decision making;
• overseeing technology strategy to ensure systems are contemporary, scalable, secure and aligned to business needs;
• strengthening information security, technology risk and business continuity frameworks to support organisational resilience;
• guiding technology uplift initiatives including analytics, automation and emerging digital capability such as AI to enhance project delivery, operational efficiency and modern construction practices.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced finance executive with demonstrated commercial acumen, governance capability and the credibility to influence at Executive and Board levels.  Experience in technology uplift, systems optimisation or digital transformation will be highly regarded, as will exposure in sectors such as construction, engineering, development, property or other complex commercial environments.  A competitive executive remuneration package will be negotiated, commensurate with the successful candidate’s experience and background.
