Shape the national agenda for motor neurone disease
Motor Neurone Disease Australia (MNDA) is the national peak body and voice for motor neurone disease, advancing care, advocacy and research for over 30 years. In collaboration with six state-based associations, MNDA is dedicated to its vision of a world free of MND and to improving the lives of those affected through the provision of high quality care, strong advocacy and investment in world-class research.
At the heart of this mission is, MNDA’s research strategy and funding program, which supports world-class research focused on better treatments, improved care and ultimately, a cure. To propel this critical agenda, the MNDA Board seeks expressions of interest for multiple voluntary national roles on the following Board subcommittees:
CHAIR OF RESEARCH COMMITTEE & MULTIPLE RESEARCH COMMITTEE MEMBERS
Support the Board in overseeing the development of MNDA’s 2026-2029 Research Strategy and the allocation of research funding. Expertise in the following areas are sought:
MULTIPLE DATA, INNOVATION & TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE MEMBERS
Provide strategic advice and oversight on digital transformation, data governance, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity and innovation. Expertise in the following areas are sought:
MNDA also welcomes applications from people living with MND (or current family carers, or former family carers with recent lived experience) who demonstrate a genuine interest in contributing valuable lived experience to this important subcommittee work.
