St Andrew’s School is seeking a forward-thinking Independent Board Director who will voluntarily contribute to the governance, strategic direction and management of the School. The Board comprises a diverse and experienced group of professionals appointed for their specific expertise. Working collaboratively with the Chairperson, Board and Principal, the appointee will play a key role in ensuring accountable corporate performance aligned with the School’s strategic intent. The specific skillset sought for this appointment encompasses strong financial acumen, credibility and relevant qualifications. The appointee will join the Finance Committee. This position has arisen due to the Finance Committee Chairperson’s term expiring at year-end.
Applications are invited from CPA or CA qualified professionals with robust experience in finance, accounting, investment, commercial or governance roles, with a genuine desire to contribute their capabilities to the ongoing governance, future relevance and sustainability of St Andrew’s School. Strongly developed communication and relationship skills, strategic planning capability, a collaborative approach, sound judgement and authenticity will be important attributes for effective contribution to the Board.
