The Central Land Council (CLC) represents Aboriginal people across a significant expanse of Central Australia and plays a vital role in protecting Country, culture and rights. Reporting to the General Manager, Corporate Services, the Manager, Human Resources leads the CLC’s HR, payroll, WHS, training and development functions while providing strategic guidance across all facets of people and culture management. Key responsibilities include:
The position will suit a resilient, values‑driven HR leader with relevant tertiary qualifications and broad generalist HR experience, supported by well‑developed leadership capability, strong communication and advisory skills, and sound analytical, compliance and policy development expertise. Experience in remote or cross‑cultural settings will be highly regarded but is not essential. Ideally, you will demonstrate adaptability, initiative and the emotional intelligence and agility required to operate effectively in a fluid and culturally responsive environment.
