    Remunerated Chair opportunity
    Lead with purpose to strengthen governance & impact

    Help at Home Inc. is a well-established mission led not-for-profit provider of in-home and community disability support services, known for delivering high quality, personalised support that enhances the lives of individuals and their families.  With a loyal, values driven workforce, the organisation is embarking on purposeful transformation to support future focused alignment and sustainability in a dynamic and reforming sector.

    Approaching the conclusion of the current Chair’s tenure, an opportunity exists for a new Chair to lead the highly committed Board.  This is a strategic governance leadership role for a person of integrity and vision who shares the organisation’s mission and values and can make a lasting impact.  Working closely with a highly credible CEO and the Board, the Chair will guide and strengthen governance, accountability and strategic direction to ensure Help at Home Inc. continues to flourish in delivering outstanding quality care outcomes to clients.  Key responsibilities include:

    • leading the Board to provide effective governance and strategic oversight;
    • driving contemporary governance initiatives including a constitutional review;
    • fostering collaborative and constructive relationships with the CEO and Board to ensure clarity of roles and strong organisational performance;
    • ensuring sound risk management, financial sustainability and regulatory compliance;
    • promoting a culture of integrity, transparency and person-centred service delivery;
    • representing and advocating for the organisation with clients, families, stakeholders and the broader community.

    Applications are invited from experienced and appropriately qualified non‑executive directors with proven Chair/Deputy Chair experience and demonstrated governance leadership in complex, mission‑driven environments.  The successful candidate will bring strategic credibility, commercial acumen, warmth, empathy and an authentic affinity with the organisation’s purpose, along with the capacity to apply the appropriate focus and time to this remunerated governance role.

    If you are a purpose-led leader ready to shape the exciting future of this organisation, we invite you to explore this influential opportunity without delay.
