Motor Neurone Disease Association of South Australia Inc (MNDSA) is a not-for-profit charity committed to providing support for individuals living with or impacted by Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Servicing its community by providing information, advice, advocacy, practical assistance and support services, MNDSA is committed to providing high quality care to its clients, carers and families affected by MND.
After nearly a decade of valuable service to the entity, the current incumbent Karen Percival is retiring. As a result, MNDSA now seeks an experienced, commercially astute professional to continue to drive its vision and navigate the organisation through its next chapter. Reporting to a diverse and experienced Board, key responsibilities of this role include:
The ideal candidate for MNDSA will be a dynamic and experienced executive leader with a proven ability to grow and guide complex service delivery organisations. They will demonstrate strong commercial and political acumen, appetite for positive change, contemporary leadership skills, and a genuine commitment to building positive relationships with all key stakeholders, including people living with MND, their families, partners, and the broader community. Exceptional communication skills, warmth, empathy, authenticity, and integrity are essential, as is sound financial management. Knowledge of the NDIS, aged care, or health sectors – particularly as they relate to people living with MND – will be highly regarded.
