    Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) is one of Australia’s leading gas infrastructure companies, managing critical gas infrastructure across Australia through its infrastructure businesses that include Australian Gas Networks (AGN), Dampier Bunbury Pipeline (DBP) and Multinet Gas Networks (MGN).  It is also leading the way in renewable gas, through the development of projects such as Hydrogen Park South Australia which is delivering a 5% renewable gas blend to more than 3,800 homes.  With an asset base of approximately $9 billion, a customer base of over 2 million and employing more than 500 staff, AGIG is poised for further growth.

    Reporting to the Deputy Company Secretary & Senior Legal Counsel, this position is responsible for providing paralegal and administration services to the Company Secretarial Team.  Specific responsibilities include:

    • administering, reviewing and assisting with the finalisation of Board and Committee papers for group entities;
    • drafting agendas and assisting with meeting papers and minutes;
    • assisting with monthly and other shareholder reporting, Committee and Board timetabling and communications drafting;
    • maintaining licence, ASIC and other registers and the legal contracts database;
    • paying ASIC and other company secretarial related costs and fees;
    • assisting with general administration tasks for the Company Secretarial Team such as director consents, new company incorporation, policy finalisation and uploading to the intranet;
    • providing support to the Executive Assistant to the Executive General Manager Corporate and Regulation.

    Applications are encouraged from experienced administration professionals or paralegals with well-developed skills in document control, register administration and correspondence management.  Previous experience supporting a Board with tasks such as compiling board papers and drafting minutes will be highly regarded.  High proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint and Word will also be important.  The successful candidate will demonstrate high attention to detail, exceptional relationship building and interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, a strong customer focus and the ability to effectively respond to competing demands.  There is a preference for the position to be based in Adelaide but consideration will be given to either a Perth or Melbourne location to attract the right candidate.
