With a team of 250 dedicated and passionate staff, clients are supported in connecting to their community, learning new skills, increasing independence, and accessing accommodation options to lead fulfilling lives. LDS works closely with clients’ families/guardians and is committed to person-centred care, consultation, communication, and partnership with its clients.
Reporting to the Board, the Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for:
Applications are encouraged from appropriately qualified and experienced senior executives with the commercial acumen and humanistic qualities to ensure sustainable leadership of this highly valued disability services entity. A genuine affinity with key stakeholders, proactive leadership skills, strategic financial acumen, and highly developed communication abilities combined with warmth, empathy, authenticity, and good character are essential. Knowledge of the NDIS environment will be highly regarded. Strategic management experience leading a comparably complex human services or related business with alignment to Lutheran Disability Services’ person and family-centred care approach will be important.
