The Teachers Registration Board of South Australia (TRBSA) is a highly respected statutory authority, which builds public trust in the teaching profession.  The object of the TRBSA is to, in the public interest, establish and maintain a teacher registration system and professional standards to ensure members are competent and fit and proper persons to have the care of children. 

Reporting to the Presiding Member of the Board, the Registrar is responsible for the leadership and management of a multi skilled team to ensure effective and efficient regulation of the teaching profession. 

This position is an opportunity for a consummate and proven strategic leader with a genuine and demonstrated commitment to education.  Drive, energy, resilience and genuine leadership and stakeholder management capabilities will be critical personal qualities sought.  Important for success in this role will be high-level written and oral communication skills, superior influencing and collaborative abilities, a sound knowledge of corporate and state governance, and strong financial management, as well as capacity to work with government and non-government stakeholders.  This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring leader with the qualities to continue to foster the profession of capable and effective teachers who are well prepared to teach, are supported in their professional growth, and who practise at a consistently high standard.
