    Australian Naval Infrastructure Pty Ltd (ANI) is the owner, developer and manager of the Osborne Naval Shipyard, in support of the Commonwealth’s continuous naval shipbuilding program.

    With the development of a new Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard and a Skills and Training Academy at Osborne, and continuing upgrades to existing facilities, ANI’s property interests have continued to grow.  As such, ANI is seeking to recruit a dedicated Property Manager to take carriage of ANI’s landlord function for this extensive and critical portfolio.

    Reporting to the General Counsel & Company Secretary, and working closely with internal legal, finance and facilities management teams, the Property Manager will be responsible for managing ANI’s property portfolio and interests and relationships with tenants.

    Specific responsibilities include:

    • negotiating and finalising all new access arrangements for Defence-selected shipbuilding and sustainment contractors;
    • ongoing management of existing access agreements;
    • managing all commercial aspects of the landlord/tenant relationship;
    • interfacing and co-ordinating with internal and external stakeholders in relation to ANI’s access agreements;
    • developing and maintaining documentation and records regarding ANI’s landholdings, tenancy arrangements and third party access arrangements.

    Applications are encouraged from suitably qualified and experienced commercial property management professionals with particular skills in contract negotiation, management and administration.  A sound understanding of property management principles will be required including typical landlord/tenant responsibilities.  This role also requires superior communication and stakeholder relationship building abilities.

    ANI offers a dynamic and flexible working environment (including a compressed 9-day fortnight) in a supportive and collaborative team. This position will be split between Osborne and ANI’s city office.

    Work with purpose. Grow with ANI!
