Resthaven Incorporated is a highly respected leader in the rapidly growing aged care, community services and retirement living sector in South Australia.  Engaging a dedicated and passionate workforce of over 3,400 and with an annual turnover circa $300m, Resthaven provides residential care, retirement living and community services from sites across metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia.

Reporting directly to the Executive Manager Finance and Technology, and as a key member of the Executive ICT committee, this position will play a pivotal leadership role to leverage technology to optimise services, drive growth and lead the development, implementation and review of Resthaven’s ICT strategy. Responsibilities include:

• providing leadership and expertise on executing the ICT Strategic Plan and major ICT projects to digitally transform services and drive business growth;
• ensuring sound ICT systems governance across all of Resthaven’s sites;
• leading and inspiring a high performing ICT team (approx. 25 staff) to deliver innovative solutions through customer excellence;
• overseeing the cloud and network technology environment to ensure optimal performance, reliability, security and compliance with statutory and vendor obligations;
• governance and management of cyber risk to ensure the security and integrity of Resthaven’s ICT system and mitigate technology related risks;
• supporting and developing the Business Intelligence environment ensuring Resthaven is provided with reliable quality data to facilitate internal and external reporting obligations and intelligence;
• leading the support and development of the applications suite within Resthaven;
• leading and facilitating digital education within Resthaven;
• maintaining the governance framework for Resthaven ICT projects, and overseeing the effective governance of ICT projects.

Applications are sought from appropriately qualified professionals with proven experience in a comparably senior ICT role, along with transferable experience in the development and implementation of ICT strategies.  The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead diverse teams and influence key stakeholders, including effective partnerships with vendors with strong communication skills.  Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, the ability to work on multiple projects across geographically dispersed sites, and a collaborative business mindset is essential.  Positivity, flexibility, drive, self-motivation and a proactive, results driven focus are critical traits for success in this pivotal role.
