    St Columba College is a Reception to Year 12 independent school located an easy 30 minute drive north of Adelaide.  Renowned for its commitment to high standards in all areas of school life, the College is supported by 200 passionate and dedicated staff delivering high quality learning experiences to circa 1,500 students.

    It’s an exciting time to join the staff cohort with a new strategic plan about to be initiated under the leadership of the newly appointed Principal, Darren Pitt.  The Human Resources Advisor will have the opportunity to enhance current frameworks and establish new employee experience initiatives while enjoying professional growth in a cohesive and supported workplace.

    Reporting to the Business Manager and working closely with the Principal and the College Leadership Team, the position will be responsible for providing support and advice across a range of HR matters relating to development and enhancement of policy, systems and frameworks for the College to ensure staff are engaged and flourishing.  Key areas of responsibility will include but not be limited to:

    • collaborate with the leadership team to identify, develop and implement solutions across workforce structure and planning, performance management and development, employee relations, training and development and HR operations;
    • coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, onboarding, retention and succession programs;
    • contribute to the development, review and continuous improvement of human resource strategies, programs, plans, policies and initiatives;
    • coordinate and promote staff wellbeing initiatives as the College seeks to further enhance its employee experience in support of optimal student outcomes.
