Trees For Life (TFL) is one of South Australia’s most trusted environmental organisations, dedicated to restoring landscapes, protecting biodiversity and supporting resilient ecosystems.  With a 44-year legacy, a committed community of volunteers, landholders and partners, and a reputation for integrity and impact, TFL is entering an exciting new phase of growth.

The Head of Partnerships & Growth reports directly to the CEO and will shape the organisation’s long-term sustainability.  This newly created role will lead revenue growth, strategic partnerships and supporter engagement, through trusted, values-based relationships.  The role will deepen and activate existing relationships, secure and manage new partnerships, and deliver integrated initiatives across fundraising, marketing, communications and legacy giving to support environmental impact.  Key responsibilities include:

• growing and diversifying revenue streams through strategic partnerships and relationships;
• leading supporter engagement, donor stewardship and legacy giving to build enduring relationships and long-term impact;
• overseeing fundraising aligned marketing, communications and brand activity;
• delivering the Strategic Fundraising Plan and integrating associated planning and execution across all growth-related functions;
• providing clear leadership to a small high performing team while contributing to organisational strategy and performance.

The successful candidate will be an accomplished relationship builder with a strong track record of delivering results through partnerships, fundraising or stakeholder engagement.  Experience in legacy giving and donor stewardship will be highly regarded. Professionals with a broader marketing and communications or business development background are also encouraged to apply. Organised, collaborative and purpose driven, this leadership role will motivate others, manage competing priorities and use insight and systems (e.g. CRM tools) to support strategic growth.  A genuine commitment to environmental stewardship and the mission of Trees For Life is essential.

This position offers flexible working arrangements and operates under a hybrid model, combining work from home with regular in person days and stakeholder visits across South Australia.  Whilst this position is offered on a full-time basis, flexibility for part-time will be considered in order to attract the right candidate.
