The Association of Independent Schools of South Australia (AISSA) is the peak body for the independent school sector in SA. The AISSA plays a significant leadership role in supporting, representing and advocating for the independent school sector to enhance the success, sustainability and strength of its member schools. Reporting to the Chief Executive, this pivotal new senior Executive role leads and manages a multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver support services, professional learning programs, and strategic initiatives that enhance the success and sustainability of member schools. Key responsibilities include:
Applications are encouraged from experienced senior leaders with relevant tertiary qualifications and proven experience and knowledge of the school education landscape at both state and national levels. The successful candidate will be a highly engaging leader with well-developed financial, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills. Creative thinking, problem solving, organisational, and decision‑making skills will also be important.
