Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this pivotal and newly created role provides hands on management of the day-to-day operations of the finance function.  Key responsibilities include:

• preparing financial statements, management reports and analysis to support critical decision making and long-term strategic planning;
• managing budgeting and cash flow and preparing forecasts;
• evaluating and enhancing financial systems and processes identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and best practices;
• undertaking financial modelling for the purposes of investment appraisal and analysis;
• leading and mentoring a small, dedicated finance team while fostering a collaborative culture;
• coordinating with external auditors to facilitate annual audits, ensuring accurate and timely audit reports.

This position will suit a CA/CPA qualified finance professional who is a genuine achiever aspiring to move to a CFO role in the medium term.  The successful candidate will be an intelligent, committed, pragmatic, data-focused individual displaying integrity, flexibility, initiative, curiosity, drive, energy and well developed interpersonal and stakeholder relationship building skills.  A genuine affinity with the vision and purpose of a not-for-profit organisation of this type will be required, however applications are welcome from candidates from a variety of professional backgrounds.
