    Australian Naval Infrastructure Pty Ltd (ANI) was established by the Government of Australia to develop state-of-the-art infrastructure at the Osborne Naval Shipyard for the domestic manufacture of world-class naval vessels.

    ANI is responsible for the design and build of the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard – one of the largest and most complex infrastructure projects undertaken in Australia’s history, to support the build of nuclear-powered submarines under the AUKUS program.

    The Executive General Manager Corporate Affairs and People is a newly created role at ANI and is part of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Managing Director & CEO.

    Specific responsibilities of this diverse and important position include:

    • building and maintaining productive relationships with all key ANI stakeholder groups, including Commonwealth, State and Local governments, the Australian Submarine Agency, shipbuilders and the broader community;
    • leading and directing community consultation programs, media and communications;
    • leading internal communications and corporate affairs for both the Adelaide CBD and Osborne sites and operations;
    • strategically leading ANI’s people and culture function to ensure strong workforce planning, attraction, succession, recruitment, development and performance outcomes; and
    • driving ANI’s ESG strategies and initiatives to meet corporate and community expectations.

    ANI’s employment framework and collaborative culture supports flexibility, work-life balance and personal development.

    The organisation contributes to a significant national program that is drawing skills and talent from across the globe and making a major contribution to Australia’s national security.

    This will be one of the most senior and well rewarded executive roles of its type in South Australia.  It will suit a highly accomplished professional with relevant experience in a comparably complex organisation with the credibility, agility, authenticity, vitality and strategic capability required to be a key member of this high performing leadership team.

    Work with purpose. Grow with ANI!
